A mountain oasis with aloha spirit

Aloha is a beautiful word with a multi-dimensional meaning. Many may know it as a greeting, as it’s used to say both ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ in Hawaiian, but it means much more than that — aloha is a way of life.

Aloha is often translated as Breath of Life or God Within. The purpose of yoga practice is to bring us into the lived in-body experience of aloha, the current of love that runs through all of us.

Aloha is also a symbiotic relationship, and the honoring of our relationship with all of creation. Aloha is life force, love embodied, and the remembrance that we are part of all, and all is part of us.

We know the spirit of aloha when we feel it, for it is not found in words but in the unspoken language of the heart.

At Three Sisters Yoga, we weave the spirit of aloha through our practice.

Living the path of aloha begins by breathing life into our bodies and hearts, and feeling aloha running through us like a luminous river that gives life to all that it touches.
